Spanish Soprano Ana Troncoso studied singing at the “Real Conservatorio Manuel de Falla de Cádiz”, and Sevilla High College of Performing Arts, and received masterclasses from Soprano Montserrat Caballé and Tenor Giacomo Aragall, Valle Duque, Francesca Roig, Emelina López and Carlos Álvarez . She also learned interpretative techniques for opera singers from masters Miguel Ortega and Manuel Burgueras. 

On stage, she was Cio-Cio-San for the sixth time with an excellent acclaim by art critics and audiences alike. She has sung Tosca, for the second time, on August in Monclova Castle (Sevilla). She collaborates with the company Staff Opera Club in creating lyrical performances, worth noting are her performances in Destino Verdi, which she plays Violetta Valery and Gilda, of "Rigoletto" and "La Traviata", respectively, by the master Giuseppe Verdi, in Villamarta TheatreGiannetta "Elisir d'amore" by G. Donizetti, Gran Teatro Falla; Sacerdotessa, "Aida" by G. Verdi in the Villamarta Theatre. She was featured in the role of Shem in "Noah’s Flood", by B. Britten, for two seasons in the Villamarta Theatre (Jerez de la Frontera);  she was Annina in "La Traviata", by G. Verdi; and Suor Genovieffa in "Suor Angelica", by G. Puccini, in the Villamarta Theatre.

She´s a remarkable sacred music repertoire interpreter. Worth noting are her performances in Misa de San Juan de Dios, by J. Haydn, Kyrie a Cinco con Violines, by Juan Domingo Vidal, Ostro picta and Gloria, by A. Vivaldi, Haendel´s Messiah and Dixit Dominus, Noël´s Oratory by C. Saint-Saëns in Falla Great Theatre , Mathew Passion, Cantata 51 and 199 by J. S. Bach, inter alia. She also took  part in the works to recover the artwork music of Mariano Rodríguez de Ledesma, led by Master Juan Manuel Pérez Madueño, singing his Completas for the “X Festival de Música Española de Cádiz” and the Bicentenary Commemoration of the Cadiz Courts. And in the recent editions of the Festival, she interprets The Seven Last Words of Christ on the cross the cross, J. Haydn, Mozart Requiem and Te Deum Nicolas Zabala, as a soloist soprano.

Furthermore, she has offered various recitals seeking to promote the Spanish music in cities like London, Dublin, Paris, Barcelona, Madrid, Sevilla and Cádiz, performing pieces of Joaquín Turina, Enrique Granados, Manuel de Falla and Julio Osma. In 2016 several professional engagements take her to sing to cities in Schleswig-Holstein (Germany).

 

She has worked with high standing directors like David Levi, Vladimir Chernov, Elena Herrera, Juan Luis Pérez, Enrique Patrón de Rueda, David Jiménez Carrera or Pedro Vázquez inter alia.
